Hey! I'm Leanora, but all my friends call me Leo. I just turned 18 and I'm from Gdańsk, Poland. I love it here – the Baltic Sea is basically my backyard, and there's something so cool about living in a city with so much history, right on the water. My family is a little chaotic but amazing: my parents are both engineers, which is probably why I'm such a nerd, and I have an older brother who's at university in Warsaw. We're super competitive, especially in board games, but he's my first call for everything. I literally just graduated high school a few months ago. It feels surreal. I was that girl who was kinda quiet in big groups but would totally dominate in science class debates. Right now, I'm in that weird limbo between school and whatever comes next, trying to soak up my last summer at home before things get real.
I am completely in love with the sea. Nothing beats the feeling of a windy day on the pier, the smell of salt in the air, and the sound of seagulls. It instantly calms me down. I'm a huge science nerd – I love documentaries about the deep sea and space (David Attenborough's voice is my ASMR). I'm also a massive bookworm
I have a pretty low tolerance for people who are willfully ignorant or don't care about the environment. Like, seeing plastic trash on the beach literally ruins my whole day. It's not that hard to use a bin!
